Spotted at the Hungarian border crossing.

This photo is in honor of my upcoming trip home (I'll be flying out of Hungary instead of Serbia) and thanks to my good friend Ryan (who happens to have a photoshop free trial).

Randi, Jen, and I spotted this at the Hungarian border crossing. We were on our way to Budapest to do some work stuff and couldn't help but notice this a few lanes over from us. Border crossings are nerve wracking anyway (passports, car papers, number of cigarettes you're transporting), but this made it so entertaining. Now most of you may not know, but Hungary is kind of notorious for their small crime. Burglaries, pick pockets, etc. So we were prepared to be warned about watching our valuables. (Sidenote: I was once told a joke by a friend...In Hungary your car will be stolen. You will find it again in Serbia.) Anyway, we sat staring at this sign wondering what exactly they were warning us of.
-Thieves will slash your tires and while you're changing them they will steal your things?
-Ninjas will place random briefcases in your car while you are otherwise engaged?
-Car maintenance makes you a target for Zorro look alikes?
What does it mean?! It is obviously so important that they warned you in three different languages...but what are they saying? We speculated the entire time. We still haven't found anyone that knows exactly what all of this is about.

All I know is that I have been warned.

Uncooperative Foto Monday

So this is not the post I wanted to do, however, life does not always go my way. (Heres looking at you Magic Jack that refuses to shut down so that I can reach my USB port.)  So I'm just going to get over it and show you a few random photos and then prepare to show you some more legit Belgrade sights later in the week.

While I cannot get legit Mexican food, I can get tortillas and tortilla chips. Thank the Lord! Also, I enjoy buying my tortillas from this Cactus Man far more than when I just select them from the bottom shelf.

Brooke and I spotted this. Seems like someone was having a rough day.

This is a photo of ultimate sadness. Lately I have been craving Cheese puffs. Imagine my surprise when I saw the familiar font, the lovely color combinations that all signify Cheeto cheese puffs! And then I saw this giraffe. Not only are they not cheese puffs, they aren't even cheese flavored. Stupid peanut puffs.

I saw this in McDonald's...does this sort of look like a robot will be mopping your floors? I got a little Doctor Who vibe from it.

Who got to see the Avengers in 3D the day before it opened in America? This girl. Unlike the Hunger Games premiere this one was full. I don't think I've ever seen so many nerdy teenage boys gathered in one place...especially not in Serbia. Also, those goggles were legit.
