Awana Festival of Fall

Here in Belgrade there is no Halloween. Which is a sad sad thing, but luckily there was a solution to this deficiency. The Awanas planned and put on a Fall Festival and required everyone to dress up as their favorite story book character. We had a costume parade and guessing session, we reversed bobbed for apples, the kids decorated pumpkin jars and the adults ate more than twice their weight in food stuffs. Team Belgrade had a super excellent time and here are the photos to prove it!
Team Belgrade, fully suited up and posing. Minus Trey (as Paul) because we needed a photographer.  Can you guess any of their alternate identities?

Trey attempting to reverse apple bob. The apples were hung from the ceiling by strings. The only rule was that you had to keep your hands behind your back the entire time. Kyle pulled off a miraculous win and then told us all he cheated (insisting it was fair play). Poor Trey never quite managed to get his apple.

Eating, eating, and more eating. With some laughing thrown in for good measure.

Little Nancy Drew looking like a hobo (a cute one) in the middle of one of the games.
